Hachette Learning

Hachette Learning provides expert teaching and learning solutions on a global scale. Their mission is to unlock every learner’s unique potential and make it easy to discover a new world of learning. Previously operating as Hodder Education, their educational tools – digital and print – maximise the impact of learning for every teacher, parent, and student. Hachette Learning sells to over 150 countries worldwide, covering an age range of three years old through to 19+, in addition to a suite of professional development support, including Hachette Learning Professional Development Publications.

Winning With Numbers has partnered with Hachette Learning at the perfect time, as the rapidly growing emphasis on foundational number fluency for young children is indeed our core expertise. Evidence clearly shows that the foundations for mathematical success and essential life skills come when children are first of all Winning With Numbers!

Fonetti

The National Read-Aloud Challenge is a powerful, free summer initiative that transforms reading into a fun, confidence-boosting journey for children everywhere. At the heart of the challenge is Fonetti – an award-winning read-aloud app developed to help improve confidence and fluency with reading. As children read aloud, Fonetti listens in real time, encouraging, correcting, and celebrating progress with every page.

Winning With Numbers has partnered with Fonetti and the National Read-Aloud Challenge because of our joint mission to help ensure all children are fluent and confident learners!

NSPCC

NSPCC Number Day is an annual fundraising event organised by the NSPCC for schools and nurseries that combines fun, number-based activities with fundraising to support the charity’s work in preventing child abuse. Activities often include dressing up in numerical costumes! The fundraising event raises money for child protection services.

At Winning With Numbers, we have partnered with NSPCC to provide number-based activities that schools can download and enjoy throughout Number Day.

Schools can register for free on the NSPCC website.

Maths Teaching Innovation Collaborative (MTIC)

MTIC is on a mission to help the North East become a high attaining region for maths by taking strategic action that is collective, practical and evidence-based. MTIC looks to increase the collective belief in the importance of maths and encourage the sharing of expertise and resources.

MTIC aligns with our mission at Winning With Numbers and as a voluntary, non-competitive partnership of educationalists, businesses, charities and policymakers it is a perfect partnership for us.

What Worked Education

What Worked Education is an organisation that provides a platform that allows schools to engage in rigorous, small-scale evaluations to help them identify what works best to impact on outcomes.

Winning With Numbers has partnered with What Worked Education to provide teachers with a way of testing WWN to find out its impact over a six-week period. The results so far are very positive! You can see the difference between the control class and the intervention class who were taught through WWN for 6 weeks.
